Inkt & Pootjes is a comic creation game developped for an association which helps students with disabilities in West Flanders (Katholieke Leersteucentra West-Vlaanderen).
They asked for a game that could be played with a class of students, and could introduce the themes of inclusivity and care for disabilities to them.
The solution we found is a multiplayer game in which the students can create comic strips together by placing stickers on panels.

In this project I worked mainly as project manager, but I also helped with design and 2D asset pipeline. I also was in charge of writing game documentation, meeting reports and playtesting notes.
I had to manage a team of 5 very diverse students and plan the work for a semester-long project. I made sure that the production met the weekly milestones, and in the end the project was finished with success and delivered to the client!

This is a technical analysis of the game. Developing this architecture to allow multiplayer, was definitely challenging.

Me and the artist developed the style for the game together. I helped by providing questions (yellow) for her to answer (blue).

The characters had a crucial role to deliver the client's mission. Each of them represents a disability or learning disorder.
